Flexibile and durable

Foam filled slats are excellent all around slats that provide great value and protection. They also are available in the widest amount of colors. Choose between two different types of foam filled shutters: Mini and Maxi Slats.

Mini Slats- smaller box housing

Mini have a smaller profile height, and therefore can roll up into a tighter space. Choose mini slats if having the shutters out of sight is a very important aspect of an installation.

Maxi Slats- Larger shutter spans

Foam Filled Maxi Slats have a larger profile height, making them ideal for larger openings that a mini slat can't cover.

Color Chart
Rollac Manufactures roll-formed foam filled slats in a wide variety of slat colors that match nearly any surface.
Complete shutter systems are available in the standard 5 colors:
white, grey, cream, beige, brown, bronze
Shutter curtains are available in these additional colors: ivory, oak, lt. beige, green, silver metallic.

End Retention System (hard foam shutters)

In addition to the extra protection hard foam has to offer, the End Retention System (ERS) locks the shutter into the rails with a specially designed sidelock. These sidelocks are mounted into the slats, preventing the shutter curtain from pulling out of the side rails. (click to see a bigger image.)
Fig.1 Shows how the ERS sidelock, rail, and slat work together to add outstanding structural strength.
Fig.2 When the shutter deflects from pressure, the sidelocks prevent the curtain from pulling out of the rails.

Regular vs. hard foam

Rollac's Regular foam is a lightweight solution that excels at energy savings, light control, and noise reduction. The hard foam is twice as dense as the standard foam, making it an ideal solution for security and hurricane shutters.
