Security
Security is a primary responsibility for employers who must protect not only the physical and capital assets of a business, but also their most valuable asset and long-term investment; their employees. We encourage designers and architects to include a roller shutter system into the fabric of the building during the design stages wherever possible. Incorporated into the building this way, this type of application can ensure both an aesthetically pleasing roller shutter installation, and a higher level of security.
Our exterior shutters are manufactured using materials that are resistant to all types of intrusion, from undesirable break-ins to the harshest of weather. Shutters can have overrides installed to allow legitimate access from outside the building via remotes, keypads and radio technology control interfaces.

Employee Protection
Employees are the most valuable and irreplaceable asset a business can have. Their protection is not only important from a safety point of view, but their level of protection at the workplace can affect commercial insurance premiums also. Employee’s vehicles and personal property are very important to them and a Rollac shutter installation can provide a high level of automated security in parking areas and offices to reduce exposure to theft and vandalism. Making your staff feel safe and secure is all part of providing a healthy and productive working environment.

Assets
Businesses need to protect their valuable assets and having a roller shutter installation to secure a commercial building goes a long way toward meeting that requirement. Not only will external installations protect the whole building and its contents, interior roller shutters can be installed to secure areas and repositories within a business too. An example might be the storage of sensitive documents, valuable stock or perhaps a service counter shutter which can be closed outside opening hours.
This can leave a business with the opportunity to still maintain a glass storefront, but a completely shutter-secured area inside, with the added advantage of a visible crime deterrent. Businesses that handle large amounts of cash could install a Rollac shutter solution that can be activated very quickly, securing employees and assets against robbery.

Break-ins and Theft
Rollac shutters are made from extremely durable materials. We know that buildings are most vulnerable to break-ins through doors and windows; our design makes it almost impossible to breach our shutters without considerable force and shutter secured openings will present a very difficult entry route for a would-be thief. In addition the shutter slats that Rollac have designed are interlocking profiles prohibiting either viewing between them to “case the joint” for a robbery or using a gap as a potential starting point for a break-in. The shutters are guided by tough rails which can be incorporated into the building structure further increasing resistance to break-ins. Having a Rollac shutter installation can reduce insurance premiums as they lower the risk of property damage and theft.

Vandalism
An unfortunate feature of today’s society is the desire for some to damage property. When considering a potential target, the decision of opportunist criminals to commit crimes in many circumstances are influenced by; a physical opportunity and the probability of being caught.  Integrating Rollac shutter solutions can serve as both a visual deterrent and a physical barrier for crime prevention. Our roller shutter solutions are made from high-resistance materials which provide a sturdy defense against physical abuse and vandalism.
